Melbourne Australia's Axolotl (Ella Thompson, Dustin McLean, James Gilligan, Leigh Fisher, and Natasha Rose) describe themselves as "new-wave, ambient-rock, electronic, pop" and cite St Vincent, Little Dragon, Radiohead, Tame Impala, James Blake, Leonard Cohen, Grizzly Bear, Feist, Jamie Liddel, Bjork, Jeff Buckley, Nina Simone, Patti Smith, The Beatles, Chairlift, Beck, and The Velvet Underground as influences. Axolotl released their debut EP, Autonomy in September 2012. "My House" is the newest single from Axolotl and they currently preparing their debut album.
