Mr. Little Jeans (aka Monica Birkenes) was born in Norway and spent her childhood immersed in music (i.e., she sang in the church choir, learned piano and guitar). Her stage name Mr. Little Jeans was inspired by the janitor (Kumar Pallana) in Wes Anderson's movie Rushmore. The songstress recently released a new EP, Good Mistake which includes her previous singles "Runaway" and "Oh Sailor" as well as her cover of Arcade Fire's "The Suburbs." Mr. Little Jeans is set to release her debut album, Pocketknife March 25th via Harvest Records. Take a listen to "Good Mistake" below.
