London's Misty Miller has been writing songs since a young age and she is only 19. She defines herself as a "killer songstress" and has released two EP's via Relentless Records- Girlfriend (released in February 2013) and Next To You (released June 2013). Her musical inspirations include Patti Smith, Iggy Pop and The Stooges, The Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, Irma Thomas, The Sonics, The Midnight Barbers, Popskull, The Gories, the blues, and 50's rock & roll. "So much of the new female singer/songwriter stuff is kind of quieter, a bit folky. It just doesn’t have any balls. I want to bring that. Because it’s fun, I feel great doing it as a girl. There should be more women doing it. But then again, it shouldn’t really be a thing, it should just be people playing all kinds of music." -Pigeons and Planes.
